PURPOSE: To allow a person to shave his face in his normal posture by upwardly inclining the outer surface of the lower part of a mirror provided at a side wall of a lavatory so that a part around the chin is clearly reflected at the inclined part of the mirror.

CONSTITUTION: A mirror 4 is laid on a side wall 3 of a lavatory 2, near to one side thereof. The lower part of the outer surface 41 of the mirror 4 by about one-third thereof, is inclined upward. Upon shaving and so forth, a part around the chin of a person sitting in front of the mirror 4, is clearly reflected at the upward inclined surface 41 in the lower part of the mirror 4, and accordingly, the person can shave his face in his normal posture without his face being directed up. Further, the light from an illuminating lamp 31 can be satisfactorily reflected toward the chin for illumination by the outer surface of the lower part of the mirror 4, and accordingly, the chin can be brightly illuminated to facilitate shaving.
