Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide economically shoes with full high class feeling and excellent waterproofness derived from the design of elegant corrugated lines by planting fiber flocks through an adhesive layer on the surface of a shell formed of a seamless synthetic resin skin having desired irregularities on the surface. CONSTITUTION:A sock-shaped lining material is attached to the interior of a shoe-shaped skin formed by the slush molding method for molding resin shoes with a hollow die. The upper end of the skin which will become a wearing opening is cut off if necessary to shape the skin into a desired shoe form, then adhesives are applied to the outer surface and upper end face of the skin and hair is planted electrostatically in an adhesive layer having fiber flocks applied to the surface in the magnetic field. Further, portions of the skin having no adhesives applied are constituted to show patterns, and when hair is planted in said pattern portions, portions not planted with hair according to the pattern can be formed so that a secorative external appearance can be given to shoes. If necessary, flock fibers having any elongation and thickness are electro- stati cally planted, so that if desired various resin shoes resembling extremely seal leather and suede lather shoes are obtained.
