PURPOSE: To enable a gondola that has been lowered away from the projecting portion of a building to be moved again toward a wall face by disposing a boom on a frame in such a manner as to be horizontally slidable, and allowing the boom to suspend the gondola by means of wire.
CONSTITUTION: A boom 9 is horizontally slidably passed through insertion portions 8, 8 set at the same height as a frame 7, and a gondola 2 is suspended from the end of the boom 9 by means of wire; i.e., the gondola 2 is provided in such a manner to be movable as the boom 9 is slid by the movement of a movement means 10 provided at that insertion portion 8 which is nearer to the extended side of the boom. If a wall face is projecting, the gondola 2 is moved forwards and lowered to avoid that projection, and when moved below the projection, the gondola 2 can be returned to the wall face up to a position where the wire approaches the projection, and so the serviceability of the gondola device can be enhanced.
