Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve ultrasonic wave propagation characteristics by exciting plural ultrasonic sensors so as to press them against a lining member arranged in this flow meter main body. CONSTITUTION:The inside of the pipe-like flow meter main body 1 is coated with the lining member 2 consisting of tetrafluoroethylene resin and respective ultrasonic sensors 4A, 4B are inserted into sensor inserting holes 3 formed on the diagonal line of the main body 1 through fillers 5. A material obtained by providing the casing material or lining material 2 of the sensors 4A, 4B with the oscillation propagating characteristics is used for the fillers 5. Compression springs 6 are disposed on the outsides of the sensors 4A, 4B and the movement of the spring 6 to the outside in the radius direction is regulated by each pressing member 7 fixed on the outer periphery of the body 1.
