Abstract:
The press for pressing foodstuffs, of the type comprising pressure means intended to act on the foodstuffs to be pressed, comprising at least one grid (12) and at least one plate (13) between which the foodstuffs (32) have to be placed, is characterized in that hydraulic actuation means (15) are associated with the pressure means and arranged to bring together the grid and the plate, the latter thus exerting a pressure on the foodstuffs, said hydraulic actuation means (15) comprising at least a single action cylinder (24) actuated by a hydraulic pump (25) susceptible of operating under pressure and depression conditions.
