PURPOSE: To make it possible to easily peel a label from a container even with showering, etc., at a low temp. in a short time by providing this label with infiltration holes from which liquid for peeling the label infiltrates in such a manner that these holes communicate to adhesive parts consisting of adhesive layers from the front surface of a label base material.
CONSTITUTION: This label 1 consists of the label base material 2 having the infiltration holes 3 for infiltrating the liquid for peeling the label, such as hot water. The label has the adhesive layers 4 consisting of tacky adhesives, etc., soluble in hot water. These layers are formed partially in the positions corresponding to the infiltration holes 3 on the rear surface of the label base material 2 to form adhesive parts 5. Infiltration paths 8 for the hot water are formed between the label base material 2 and the front surface of a container from the outer peripheral edge of the label base material 2 to the inner side. The hot water is, therefore, liable to infiltrate the inside surface of the label base material 2 from the infiltration paths 8 and is capable of accelerating peeling of the label 1 from the container.
