PURPOSE: To provide a vacuum foaming tester for a polyurethane material, which can easily examine the expansion ratio curing time, etc., in a short time as a preliminary test when polyurethane foam is molded under pressure and easily obtain a composition of the material, a degree of vacuum of a cavity necessary to optimize the characteristics in corresponding to a product.
CONSTITUTION: A vacuum foaming tester 1 comprises a sealed box 2 formed out of a transparent material in a main section, a pressure reducing unit 3 for reducing the pressure in the box, and a mixing head 5 for pouring a polyurethane material in a testing vessel 4 set in the box 2. The poured material is foamed, and simultaneously made to advance in reaction to be cure. States of the foaming and curing are observed externally via the box formed out of the transparent material in a main section.
