Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent the vacuum cleaner main body from falling down by a method wherein a handle is bent under a condition in which the cleaner main body is erected when the vacuum cleaner is put away, and the end part of the handle is fitted in a fixing part.
CONSTITUTION: For an upright electric vacuum cleaner which is equipped with a vacuum cleaner main body at the top of which a handle 3 is bendably arranged, and a suction device main body 5 which is rotatably attached at a lower part of the vacuum cleaner main body, at the rear part of the suction device main body 5, a fixing part 20 in which the end part of the handle 3 is fitted when the handle 3 is bent is formed.
