Abstract:
The invention relates to a high pressure fuel accumulator for a common rail injection system of an internal combustion engine, comprising a tubular base body (1) whose inner volume (3) is linked to several connector openings (5, 6). To increase the resistance to high pressure, the inner volume (3) is arranged eccentrically with regard to the longitudinal axis (2) of the base body (1).
