Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell power generating system which a simple construction, in which an amount of change in pressure difference between respective pressures at a fuel electrode and at an air electrode is small and stable, and a load can be interrupted for emergencies. SOLUTION: This system consists of a fuel electrode 1A and an air electrode 1B, sandwiching electrolyte 1C and is equipped with a fuel cell 1 for generating electricity by electrochemical reaction of a fuel gas and oxidized gas, an inverter 2 for converting direct current from the fuel cell into alternating current, an inverter output control device 3A, and an urgent load interrupting device 3B for interrupting a load of the fuel cell urgently, and the urgent load interrupting device 3B emergency interrupts the load of the fuel cell for emergency by lowering the output of the inverter 2 with a fixed change rate through the inverter output control device 3A, and for instance, a load 1000kW, while operating can be interrupted with 2 seconds which have no adverse effects on the system. In addition, the inverter output can be reduced so that a change rate becomes ever larger as time elapses or can be reduced for emergency step by step.
