PURPOSE: To improve the durability and strength of a filter plate obtained by forming a nonwoven fabric or felt composed of a polymer material into a plate like form having a corrugated cross-section.
CONSTITUTION: A reinforcing members 20 are arranged over an entire area of a filter element 60 made up by arranging a pair of the filter plates, which are respectively obtained by forming the nonwoven fabric or felt composed of the polymer material into the plate like form having the corrugated cross-section, so that the root part of one of the filter plates opposes to the front part of another filter plate. The end part of the reinforcing member 20 and the end part of the filter element 60 are fixed with a bolt 1. The reinforcing member 20 has the similar figure capable of circumscribing the corrugated cross-section and the filter element 60 is held by a pair of the reinforcing members.
