Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain a refuse separator capable of surely separating even refuse such as building waste material into noncombustible material and combustible material. CONSTITUTION:A screen 12 having prescribed mesh size is stretched in a closable casing. This screen 12 is vibrated and air is jetted toward the upper part from the lower part of the screen 12. While refuse is held in a state wherein the same is fluidized on the screen 12, it is moved by vibration. This oversize is led to a wind sorting machine 2 of the next stage and therein separated into refuse having comparatively large sp. gr. and refuse having comparatively small. sp. gr. Refuse having comparatively large sp. gr. is recovered as noncombustible material. Further even the undersize of the vibrated screen of the upstream side is led to the recovery side of noncombustible material. Refuse having comparatively small sp. gr. in the wind sorting machine 2 is recovered to the side of combustible material.
