PURPOSE: To provide a device capable of uniformly filling a powder in a die cavity, capable of maintaining the uniform density of even a green compact of intricate shape and capable of improving the dimensional accuracy.

CONSTITUTION: A partition plate 33 is vertically turned and adjusted, a powder is supplied from an inlet 27 in the direction controlled by the partition plate 33, and hence the powder is uniformly filled in a die cavity from a lower opening 28. Further, the supply of powder is limited within the width of the die cavity by a couple of weirs provided crossing to the partition plate 33 and in parallel to the moving direction of a shoe box 26, and the powder is uniformly filled in the cross direction (orthogonal to the moving direction of the box 26).
