Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust dimension of separation of left and right lens frames only by changing curved shape of a joint member by constituting the joint member hooking on the facing inside end parts of a pair of left and right lens frames and connecting them with a plastically deformable material. SOLUTION: Swimming goggles 1 is prepd. by connecting the facing inside end parts 19 of a pair of left and right lens frames 4 wherein lenses 2 and frames 3 are integrally molded with a joint member 5 and connecting a head band 6 between the outside end parts 20 of the lens frames 4 and fitting cushion pads on the outer peripheral edge parts of the lenz frames 4. The joint member 5 is a member wherein the upper and lower faces and the left and right side faces of a small piece of a stainless metal sheet with a thickness of e.g. 0.3-0.7mm are covered with a plastic elastomer with a thickness of e.g. 0.5-2.0mm and when the joint member 5 is curved by pinching both end parts, the small piece of the metal sheet is plastically deformed and the elastomer is also deformed by following the deformation.
