Abstract:
The gripper device for bottles and the like, in particular for bottles having a crown or screw closure is provided with a gripping head and a multiplicity of gripping tulips (1) which are connected thereto and which each have a receiving opening (2) for the bottle to be gripped and also an elastic gripping tulip insert (3) which is arranged circumferentially in the receiving opening (2) and which can be moved forward radially in the inside cross-sectional area of the receiving opening (2) to clamp the bottle. An axially displaceable clamping piston (6) with whose end face (6.1) facing the receiving opening (2), on the one hand, and an annular bead (7) projecting radially inwards at the free rim (5) of the opening the gripping tulip insert (3) is axially in contact is provided in the tulip-shaped housing (4) of the gripping tulip (1) on the side facing away from the free opening rim (5) of the receiving opening (2).
