Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a rubber composition having improved tensile strength without lowering the hardness by using a rubber, a powdery carbon and an aromatic polymeric compound component of coal as main components.
CONSTITUTION: The objective composition is composed of (A) a rubber (natural rubber, synthetic rubber or their mixture), (B) a powdery carbon and (C) an aromatic polymeric compound component of coal consisting of fine particles having particle diameter of ≤30μm and separated from coal at a temperature below the decomposition temperature of the coal (330°C). The weight ratio of B/C is (10-99)/(90-1).
