Abstract:
The discharge lamp (20) is mounted with its reflector inside the lamp housing. The control circuit (40) for the lamp is mounted inside a screened compartment (40) at the rear of the lamp unit. The screening is earthed and comprises a metalised coating. The screened compartment is sealed onto the rear of the headlamp unit by screw fasteners and shaped seals. ADVANTAGE - High efficiency lamp without e.m. radiation effects; simple construction.
