PURPOSE: To obtain a coating-finished fabric capable of preventing contamination due to the transfer and sublimation of a dye by previously pretreating a polyester-based fiber dyed with a disperse dye with a specific polymer or a copolymer and then subjecting the pretreated fiber to resin finishing with a coating resin.
CONSTITUTION: A polyester-based fiber dyed with a disperse dye is pretreated with a polymer containing a reactional product of a monomer of formula I (R1 is H, CH3, etc.) with epihalohydrin as a recurring polymerization unit or a polymer consisting of a reactional product of a polymer obtained by polymerizing the monomer of formula I with epihalohydrin or a copolymer of a monomer consisting of the reactional product of the monomer of formula I with epihalohydrin and other monomer copolymerizable therewith or a reactional product between one or more monomers of formula I and other monomer copolymerizable with the monomers with epihalohydrin or a polymer containing a reactional product of a monomer of formula II [R2 is H or CH3; R3 and R4 are H, CH3, etc.; Z is COO(CH2), etc.; (n) is 1-3] with epihalohydrin as a recurring polymerization unit or a reactional product having the same contents as the case of formula I, and successively, the pretreated fiber is subjected to coating finish to prevent contamination due to transfer of the dye.
