PURPOSE: To enhance the manipulatability by converting the coordinate system for input instruction values so as to obtain control instruction values, in accordance with a coordinate system for a designated one of a plurality of screens in a remote-control system for remote-controlling a part to be controlled in a space robot or the like.
CONSTITUTION: A remote-control system comprises an input manipulating part 2 such as a joy-stick for remote-controlling a part to be controlled in a robot or the like, a simulator 3 for simulating the operation of the part 1 to be controlled in accordance with an input instruction value from the input manipulating part 2, and a display part 4. Further, the simulator 3 comprises a coordinate conversion processing part 5 and a control processing part 6. In this arrangement, the coordinate conversion processing part 5 performs the coordinate conversion of an input instruction value in accordance with a coordinate system for a designated one of a plurality of screens displayed on the display part 4 and a coordinate system in the input manipulating part 2, and the control processing part 6 produces a control instruction value for controlling the part 1 to be controlled in accordance with the coordinate-converted input instruction value.
