Abstract:
An element heats the contents of a crucible and consists of a cylindrical hollow body (5) which is a series of meandering sections (7) each separated from the adjacent section by a slit (6). The novelty is that transitional zone from one section to the next is rounded. The margins (9) of the curved (7) meandering sections are of radius R whose dimension is approximately the same as the cross-section length L of one half (7a) of the meandering section.
