PURPOSE: To prevent forming a reversely bending habit in recording paper by a curl removing mechanism at unused time, in a recording device having the curl removing mechanism of recording paper.
CONSTITUTION: Thermosensible recording paper 3 is pressed by a press contact roller 4 and recorded by a thermosensible recording head 5. The thermosensible recording paper 3 wound in a roll shape is curled after recording discharge. In order to prevent this curling, a reversely warped part 8 having a reverse round part R is provided, to generally remove a curl by pressing the thermosensible recording paper 3 with the reverse R part between an in-coming side guide 9 and an out-going side guide 10. However, in this condition, when held for a long time, a reversely bending habit is formed by the reverse R part in the thermosensible recording paper 3. Therefore, here is provided a means turning the reversely warped part 8 in the counterclockwise direction after ending recording and also pulling back a point end of the thermosensible recording paper 3 to just before the thermosensible recording head 5.
