PURPOSE: To directly vary the quantity of the air gushing out of a face spit hole in order to fluctuate the temperature of the air by adopting constitution, in which a part of a flow of cooling air from an evaporator is directly introduced into the face spit hole via a by-pass, and repeatedly varying the quantity of the flow of the cooling air passing the by-pass under this constitution.
CONSTITUTION: When a fluctuation signal is issued from a fluctuation switch YS under a bye-level mode, a microcomputer 160 controls a by-pass damper 50 in such a way that the damper 50 is repeatedly closed or opened. With this, the quantity of a flow of the cooling air, which goes from an evaporator 40 to a by-pass 10a and flows into a face spit hole 13, varies in correspondence to the closing/opening of the by-pass damper 50. Thus, the quantity of the air flow from the face spit hole 13 can directly be varied, thereby fluctuating the temperature of the air gushing out.
