Title:
【発明の名称】高密度パイル織物
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2891466
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain the subject fabric having high warp density and suitable as a pile fabric for mat by blending high-shrinkage polyvinyl chloride short fibers with low-melting polyester short fibers, using the blended fiber as weft and subjecting the woven fabric to dry-heat treatment to effect shrinkage of the fabric. CONSTITUTION:A spun yarn is produced by blending (A) high-shrinkage polyvinyl chloride short fibers having a dry-heat shrinkage of preferably >=35% at 100 deg.C for 3min with (B) low-melting polyester short fibers having a melting point of preferably <=110 deg.C at a ratio (A/B) of 60/40-80/20. The spun yarn is used as a weft and the woven fabric is heat-treated at dry-heat temperature of 95-105 deg.C under a condition to give a fabric having a shrinkage of 30-50% in weft direction.
