Abstract:
A high-temperature heat pump transformer (10) has a feed line branch (14) and a return line branch (24) which are connected, via pumps (32; 34; 36) or at least one choke element (26), a desorber (12) and a resorber (18) operated at a higher pressure than the latter, to a solution circuit through which a two-component working fluid flows. Heat is supplied to the desorber (12) to expel a component of the working fluid which is gaseous, at the lower temperature. The component is conveyed under pressure through a compressor (22) to the resorber (18), where it is resorbed at the higher temperature with absorption of heat. The solution circuit comprises additional degassing devices (44; 46) in which the additional gaseous component of the working fluid is expelled at medium pressure by heat transfer from the two-component working fluid flowing in the return line branch (24) to that flowing in the forward line branch and returned to the solution circuit. An absorber (16) in the feed line branch (14) is connected downstream of the outlet of the desorber (12) to an intermediate second choke element (27). In this absorber (16), when the pressure is further reduced as heat energy is withdrawn at lower temperature, and the gaseous component of the working fluid expelled into the additional degassing devices (44; 46) is resorbed because it was previously passed through an expansion machine (30) which generates mechanical energy and its pressure reduced to the level of that of the absorber (16).
