PURPOSE: To fill gaps with the swelling of a water stop packing for a resin corrugated pipe fitting as a construction pipe and improve the reliability on water stop by specifying properties including elongation, density, tensile strength and volume expansion coefficiency.
CONSTITUTION: A water stop packing 14b is set as it is, without being previously thermally molded, but, when the diameters of corrugated pipes 10a, 10b are larger, small gaps 9a, 9b where the water stop packing is not filled are formed. In such a case, when the water stop packing 14b is put in contact with water leaked from the pipes, the water stop packing 14b is swollen by water to seal the gaps 9a, 9b. The water stop packing 14b is a polyurethane foam containing swelling resin who has an elongation of 140% or more, a density of 0.035-0.35g/cm3, a hardness of 50-700g/cm2 when compressed 50%, a tensile strength of 0.9kg/am2 or more and a volume expansion coefficient 5% or more.
