Abstract:

PURPOSE: To reduce parts and control points without using any dedicated disconnection relay, by generating a disconnection signal by a C-position relay.

CONSTITUTION: When a junction line B0-A1 is broken, the line monitoring circuit LSVO of a junction line trunk LDT0 detects the line break. To inform the junction line trunk LDT1 of an opposite station of the occurrence of the line break, the LDT0 energizes a C-position relay C0 under the control of the circuit LSV0. The C0 operation closes a contact co1, so the route of a DC circuit B1→ A0→co1→L0→og01 that the circuit LSV1 constitute is broken. Therefore, no monitoring current flows through the circuit LSV1, thereby detecting the line break.
