PURPOSE: To provide a thermal magnetic recording material excellent in thermal/magnetic recording characteristics and curling properties.

CONSTITUTION: A thermal magnetic recording material is constituted by successively laminating a thermal recording layer containing a color former and a developer coming into contact with the color former to develop a color, a paper support, an intermediate layer composed of an electron beam curable resin compsn. with a glass transition temp. of 60° or lower, a paper support and a magnetic recording layer consisting of a magnetic material and a binder. By this constitution, the thermal magnetic recording material improved in thermal recording characteristics and magnetic recording characteristics by the action of the intermediate layer and good in curling properties even after thermal recording is obtained.
