Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide an inexpensive and-convenient ID discriminating device which realizes plural functions with one card reader without providing plural card readers and switches the function by a card. CONSTITUTION:The card is read by a mode switching reader head at the time of entrance to a room in the normally close mode (S11 and S12); and when the read result coincides with a registered ID number as the result of collation, an OK lamp is temporarily lit, and the mode is switched to the normally open mode (S13 to S15). The mode is switched to the normally open mode, and a normally close lamp is extinguished, and the electric lock of a control door is unlocked to permit entrance to the room (S16 and S17). On the other hand, the card is read by the mode switching reader head in the mode other than the normally close mode in the step S11; and when the read result coincides with the registered ID number as the result of collation, the OK lamp is temporarily lit, and the mode is switched to the normally close mode (S19 to S21). The mode is switched to the normally close mode, and the normally close lamp is lit, and the electric lock is locked (S22 and S23).
