Abstract:
PURPOSE:To attain picture communication with a high transmission efficiency by returning the result of communication to a sender side after an HDLC frame of picture information and control information for one communication is received. CONSTITUTION:Picture information and control information sent by a high speed transmission control circuit l are sent continuously with HDLC frame structure shown in figure (start flag F, address A, control C, information I, frame check sequence FCS and end flag F) and the HDLC frame from a satellite communication line is continuously received by a high speed reception control circuit 2. The received resulting information Ii is configured as the HDLC frame shown in figure 3 and it is sent by a low speed transmission control circuit 3 and received by a low speed reception control circuit 4. In the content of the resulting information Ii in the figure 3 for transmission and reception, a bit b<7> set to 0 indicates the reception result of control information and a bit b<7> set to 1 depicts the result of end of one communication. A bit b<0> set to 0 shows the normal state and a bit b<0> set to l depicts a fault state.
