Title:
PHOTO SEMICONDUCTOR DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5831594
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To eliminate the leakage of the light emitted from a light emitting element except the operating circuit by filling opaque resin (black resin) on the top of a wall isolating a photocoupler.

CONSTITUTION: After a transparent resin 14 is injected in recesses 3, 4, opaque resin of semi-fused state which does not pass the light such as black resin 15 is immediately filled and adhered as a shield to the top of the wall 2 for isolating the recesses 3, 4. Even if a current is flowed to a light emitting element 5 to allow the element 5 to emit the light, the light is emitted only to a photodetector 7, and the light transmitted from the top of the wall 2 is shielded, but is not transmitted to the recess 4 of the adjacent second photocoupler like the conventional photosemiconductor device. Accordingly, it does not increase the leakage current of the photodetector of the other adjacent photocoupler nor erroneously operates the photocoupler.
