Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of a maintenance work by transmitting control information showing the contents of operating states regarding the goodness or badness of image quality to a control device at transmitting periods decided in advance in response to each operating state. CONSTITUTION:Based on the measured values of a toner concentration sensor 80 and a surface electrometer 90, decision on the operating states regarding the goodness or badness of the image quality is performed by a first CPU 201. An on-line controller 223 transmits these informations to an external control device 227 through switchboards 225 and 226 at the transmitting periods decided in advance by a second CPU 221. By controlling the operating states of the device based on these informations, the deterioration of each part, etc., can be found out in an early period and the occurrence of serious troubles can be suppressed.
