Abstract:
PURPOSE:To simplify and miniaturize a device and reduce the cost. CONSTITUTION:A high-dielectric layer 32 is formed on the surface of a transfer drum 2. A belt-like circular toner conveying belt 3 constituted of two layers: a light conducting layer 34 and a transparent electrode layer 33, is rotatably provided at the opposite position to the transfer drum 2 with the light conducting layer 34 kept in contact with the surface of the transfer drum 2. This image forming device is provided with a toner cartridge 9 feeding a conducting toner 8 to the surface of the toner conveying belt 3, an LED array 10 provided to face the transfer drum 2 across the toner conveying belt 3 on the inside of the toner conveying belt 3, a drum side power source applying the prescribed voltage between the transfer drum 2 and the transparent electrode layer 33 of the toner conveying belt 3, and a storage container side power source applying the prescribed voltage between the transparent electrode layer 33 of the toner conveying belt 3 and the conducting toner 8 stored in the toner cartridge 9.
