Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain the dynamic picture of a wide dynamic range by equipping an image pick-up means to switch an image pick-up signal, whose charge accumulating time is different, every field and to output it and synthesizing one picture from the screen of the two successive fields. CONSTITUTION:A beam, which is incoming from an optical system 101 in a camera part 100, is light quantity-limited by a diaphragm 102 and image-formed to an image pick-up element 103. For example, the accumulation of 1/1000 second is executed during a vertical blanking period and a 1/1000 second accumulating signal is outputted in the next effective picture period. Then, the charge accumulation of 1/60 second is practically executed during the effective picture period just after the 1/1000 second accumulating period and a 1/60 second accumulating signal is outputted during the effective picture period of the next field. Namely, the signal of the light quantity of two types (1/1000 second and 1/60 second) are alternatively outputted in each field. Thus, by synthesizing the image of the image pick-up signals, whose charge accumulating times are different, the image pick-up signal of the wider dynamic range can be practically obtained.
