Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To pick up an object by configuring the image pickup device with an image pickup device main body having a display section and an image storage section and an image pickup section provided to the main body turnably and removably so as to direct quickly the image pickup section in a desired direction. SOLUTION: A case main body 1 and a television camera section 2 are formed to be rectangular prisms and the entire shape of the main body 1 and the camera section 2 are configured to be rectangular prisms where front and rear sides are almost mated. Then a liquid crystal display section 3, a tuning section 4, a cassette section 5 and a speaker 6 are provided to a front side of the main body 1. A key operation section 7 and a rod antenna 8 are provided to an upper side of the main body 1. Furthermore, a small sized image pickup device using a solid-state image pickup element CCD is provided to the camera section 2 and a lens is mounted to the tip. The camera section 2 is fitted removably to the main body 1 at the part A in the vicinity of the lower end and the upper end is turned in the forward/backward directions around the part A.
