Abstract:
PURPOSE:To extend a correction range of image deflection by letting an optical zooming and an electronic zoom cooperate so as to correct the image deflection as keeping an angle of view constant. CONSTITUTION:A picked-up image is stored (S2), and the quantity of motion of the image is detected (S4). When there is a deflection of screen (S5), the image read range is moved from an image memory in a direction to cancel the deflection (S6). A position of an object is detected (S7), and when the position is table (S8), image data are read from the image read range set in the step 56 and extended electronically (S10). When the object is unstagle (S8), a zoom lens is set to the wide mode and a magnification K of electronic zooming is adjusted to keep a prescribed angle of view (S9) and the processing of the picked-up image storage (S2) and its succeeding processing are repeated.
