Date Nov. 29, 1990.Device for extracting condensates, inside the internal cavity of a cylinder, including a partition disposed in front of an end of the internal cavity. An orifice is positioned between the internal cylindrical wall and the periphery of the partition enabling condensates to pass and to be atomized behind the partition where they are evacuated at the shaft of the cylinder. The cross-section of the opening, between the partition and the cylinder, is a function of the diameter of the cylinder. In cylinders of large diameter, the peripheral rim of the partition may be composed of serrations which, at the same time, also serve to center the partition in the cylinder.
