Abstract:
PURPOSE:To simplify a control circuit and lower the cost of an induction heating apparatus by using heating coils and resonance capacitors in series thereto for composing all of a plurality of load circuits which are connected between the contacting points of series circuits of transistors and one terminal of a d.c. electric power source and having mutually different resonance frequencies among the respective load circuits. CONSTITUTION:In the case of heating a load on a heating coil 42, a control circuit 46 turns a first transistor 36 and a second transistor 38 on and off reciprocally with 25kHz and in the case of heating a load on a heating coil 44, the circuit turns the first transistor 36 and the second transistor 38 on and off reciprocally with 35kHz. In this way, loads are heated while a plurality of heating coils 42, 44 being selected. Consequently, the control circuit 46 which drives the transistors 36, 38 is simplified and an induction heating apparatus is obtained at low cost.
