Title:
【発明の名称】赤外線センサモジュ―ル
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2500698
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To decrease the cost of a device and to achieve the compact size by focusing the images in two-dimensional detecting regions on the intersecting linear focal points of two semicylindrical lenses. CONSTITUTION:One-dimensional infrared-ray array sensors 3X and 3Y are arranged on the orthogonally intersecting linear focal points of semicylindrical lenses 2A and 2Y. Then, the infrared rays emitted from an object to be detected T in a two-dimensional detecting region are cast into pyroelectric infrared-ray detecting picture elements 4X and 4Y within the dotted-line ranges of the array sensors 3X and 3Y through the lenses 2X and 2Y. Thus, the position and the movement of the object T can be found as the coordinates on the axis X and the axis Y based on the magnitudes of the outputs of the picture elements 4X and 4Y. An infrared-ray sensor module 1 such as this can reduce the number of the picture elements in a large extent. A complicated optical scanner mechanism is not required. Since the array sensors 3X and 3Y are used, the cost can be reduced, and the compact size can be achieved.
