Title:
MONOLITHIC MICROWAVE CERAMIC FILTER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0722813
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To suppress a higher harmonic wave by asymmetrically constituting resonators. CONSTITUTION: In the ceramic filter, two inside conductive holes 2, 3 on both resonators are mutually connected in a single ceramic block 1 and the whole surface excluding the upper surface 4 of the block 1 and including the inner surfaces of the holes 2, 3 is metalized. The holes 2, 3 are asymmetrically shifted from the positions of connection structure parts 5, 6 and the asymmetrical arrangement of the resonators can suppress high frequency and shaft the oscillation frequency. In this case, the symmetrical positions of the holes 2, 3 are shown by broken lines, the asymmetrically shifted positions of the holes 2, 3 are shown by solid lines and symbols 2', 3' are put to the shifted holes. The asymmetrical shift of the holes 2', 3' can be executed also in both coordinate directions, i.e., respectively reverse directions, on the face 4 in accordance with a purpose. In the shown coordinate system, the positional shift can be executed also 10 positive and negative (x) directions and positive and negative (y) directions.
