Abstract:
PURPOSE:To carry out continuously smooth combustion by providing an insulating inner wall made of a fire resisting insulation material on an inner wall inside an auxiliary combustion chamber. CONSTITUTION:A heat insulating member 34 is provided in an auxiliary combustion chamber 31 communicating to a main combustion chamber 21, and it is formed with the composite member made of zirconia and aluminum titanate, and has almost the same coefficient of linear expansion as that of silicon nitride. A coat 33 made of silicon nitride is formed on the surface of the heat insulating member 34, so that an insulating inner wall is composed of the coat 33 and the heat insulating member 34. Injected alcoholic fuel is gasified sufficiently by the heat reserved in the insulating inner wall. Thereby, smooth combustion can be carried out continuously.
