PURPOSE: To prevent an incorrect cop from being supplied by connecting a bypath for holding and transport of the incorrect cop midway on a return passage for a bobbin.

CONSTITUTION: A bypath 7 is formed for feeding a cop supplied from a pick finding apparatus 5 or a bobbin having residual thread which is discharged from a winding-up unit into the pick finding apparatus 5 again, and the cop is temporarily held in said bypath 7 while utilizing it as a stock apparatus, and in this time, an operator makes manual operation to set each cop in the state to be correctly subjected to pick finding in the pick finding apparatus 5, and then the cop is supplied into the pick finding apparatus. Thus, feeding of an incorrect cop into a winder can be prevented, and useless transfer of cop can be eliminated.
