Abstract:
A connector (C1) includes a connector housing (11) and a branched joint terminal (13) for branching a primary line (5A) to a plurality of secondary lines (5B). The connector housing (11) has a plurality of terminal housing (11b) extending parallel to each other and opening at the front side for accommodating one terminal connected to the primary line or to the secondary line (5B). The connector housing (11) is provided with grooves (11d-1 and 11d-2) extending between the side walls (11c) thereof and crossing the terminal housing (11b). Thus extended formed groove (11d-1 and 11d-2) is also opened at the front side for receiving the joint terminal (13) therein. When joint terminal (13) is placed in the groove (11d-1 and 11d-2), the first and second terminals (12) accommodated in the terminal housing (11b) are electrically connected through the joint terminal (13) so that the primary line (5A) is branched and connected to the secondary terminals (5B).
