Abstract:
PURPOSE:To make easy the replacement of the air with molten lead by installing a recess which is necessary for replacing the air in a grid casting mold with molten lead in a fixed mold or a movable mold and installing a jig for forming an air escape part when the jig is fitted to the recess. CONSTITUTION:A recess 8 is installed in a part of a casting mold of a movable mold 3. The recess 8 can also be installed in a fixed mold. The recess 8 serves as a part where an air replacing groove is formed when molten lead is poured, and is arranged near a grid bone or so as to contain the grid bone, and is installed so as to release the air outside the mold. A jig 9 is fitted into the recess 8 and an air replacing space 10 is formed. An air replacing function which is one role of a cork 6 can be reduced, and the spraying amount of the cork 6 can be decreased. Replacement of the air with molten lead is made easy.
