Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enable effective rolling by quickly controlling to a proper plate crown regardless of the change of the thickness of a plate, the width of the plate or a material and making cutoff parts extremely few when continuously rolling by joining plural metal plates in turn.
CONSTITUTION: When continuously rolling by joining each other a metal plate precedingly transferred and a metal plate following this metal plate, and passing them through rolling equipment on which plural stands are arranged, the roll cross angle θ of a roll assembled in each stand, is set to a prescribed value in advance, and a plate crown is controlled by adjusting the roll bender load of each stand online.
