Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve an image contrast of a plasma panel type display screen. CONSTITUTION: A plasma panel 10 includes a front plate D1 carrying photoluminescence layers LB1 and LV1 consisting of luminous substance particles GL 1-GLn. The luminous substance particles GL1-GLn are formed into 1.5 micrometers or less in diameter. Thereby, a coefficient of reflection decreases, and an image contrast is improved.
