Abstract:
A liquid filter (10) for fuels is proposed, which, in its housing (11), receives a filter element (15), the lower end (26) of which is enclosed by a funnel-shaped covering cap (27) separating the dirty side (45) and the clean side (46) from each other, which covering cap has a water storage chamber (31) with an associated discharge screw (32). The covering cap (27) receives the discharge screw (32) in a central threaded connection (33), a single flat sealing ring (41) taking over the inner and outer sealing as a double function. The simple design is easy to assemble and favourable in terms of cost.
