Abstract:
PURPOSE: To continuously and automatically perform an accurate penetration test in a perfect free falling state without receiving the effect of an individual difference while ensuring the falling height of a weight with high accuracy.
CONSTITUTION: A weight 9 is mounted on a boring rod 3 in a freely liftable manner and engaged with the rod by a catcher 10 in a detachable manner. When the catcher 10 is raised to predetermined height by a hydraulic cylinder 4, the engagement of the weight 9 due to the catcher 10 is released to allow the weight to fall.
