Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a semiconductor storage device capable of reducing the load capacity of a word line driver, reducing a chip area and shortening accessing time.
CONSTITUTION: At a dynamic RAM constructed by dividing cell arrays 12 into a plurality of cell blocks 131 to 13n in a columnar direction, a first word line WLps for which the memory cell 11 is connected is electrically separated, every blocks and arranged. Then, the first WLps is selectively connected to a second word line WLAl selected and driven by a line decoder 15 by a MOS switch 14.
