Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain an amorphous marker for magnetic induction free from the trough of sensitivity characteristic of amorphous metal and securing the detection of magnetic change by providing an amorphous metal sheet formed of a magnetic substance composed principally of Co as a transition metal element and heat-treated at the prescribed temp. in the presence of inert gas. CONSTITUTION:As the above amorphous metal sheet, a Co-type amorphous metal sheet composed principally of Co as a component of transition metal element and containing, besides the above Co, B, Si, etc., as metalloid elements, e.g. that of Co-B, Co-Fe-B-Si, or other types can be cited. This amorphous metal sheet is produced by the known means consisting of spraying a molten metal, regulated to a composition of elements properly determined so as to be formed into an amorphous magnetic substance, onto the cooling surface of a rapidly rotating roll for cooling, etc. The resulting foil-like Co-type amorphous metal sheet is subjected to heat treatment at 180-270 deg.C in the presence of inert gas, such as N2 and Ar. By this method, the amorphous marker magnetically inducing golf carts and unmanned carriers can be obtained.
