Abstract:
PURPOSE:To impart excellent cutting effect to the mesh like outer blade of an electric razor, by a methed wherein compression load is applied to the surface of a secondary electrodeposition layer to enlarge and deform the skirt part thereof having an inverted dish shaped cross area to a direction forcedly releasing the same from a primary electrodeposition layer to make the angle provided between the skirt part and the lower surface small. CONSTITUTION:An electric insulating film 15 is formed to the part of the hair introducing pore 14 provided to the mesh like outer blade 3 on the surface of an electro-forming matrix mold 12. Subsequently, an almost circular arc shaped primary electrodeposition layer 16 having a thickness thicker than that of the insulating film 15 is formed on the surface of the insulating film 15 by primary electrodeposition and a release layer 17 is further formed thereon. In the next stage, a secondary electrodeposition layer 19 forming a continuous rib 18 is formed between hair introducing pores 14 of the outer blade on the release layer 17. The resulting object is placed on a press table and a vertical compression load is applied to the secondary electrodeposition layer 19 by a punch 20. By this operation, the skirt part 19a having an inverted dish shaped cross area of the secondary electrodeposition layer 19 is released from the release layer 17 to be deformed into an enlarged open shape to obtain the outer blade 13 having a counter sink 21 formed to the hair introducing pore 14 and the lower surface 22 thereof and the angle alpha provided between the skirt part 19a and the lower surface 22 can be reduced to about 60 deg.C.
